Because of your love - Al Gordon
this is how i know what love is
this is how i know i'm free
this is how i know salvation
Jesus came and died for me
this is why i come to worship
this is why i lift my hands
this is why i now surrender
everything i am
because of Your love,
there is dancing in my heart
because Your grace, i am free
because of Your faithfulness
there's a song that must be sung
and i will sing, i will sing because of You
this is why there's joy within me
this is why my spirit sings
Jesus You're my great adventure
You're my everything
repeat chorus
You came to save the world,
to save the world, to save the world...
Your love can change the world
can change the world, can change the world...

swingKPE
http://swingkpe.com.sg/
I was up earlier than normal this morning to take part in the opening event of the event.

parked @ defu lane
Overall it was okay, couldn't run the first few hundred meters, but once it cleared out, then it was easier to actually run.

The full length of the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway will be opened to motorists on 20 September 2008. To celebrate the completion of the longest underground vehicular tunnel in South East Asia, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) is organising the Swing KPE to provide an opportunity for the public to be one of the first to walk and run in the unopened portion of the KPE tunnel (Phase2). Participants will also get to enjoy exciting activities in the tunnel!

Panasonic Lumix LX3
Hi folks,
Maybe just a short update on what a normal blog should have. So whats up recently in my life, quite abit I guess. I just got back from my RT, currently in Phase 2 so thats 3 times a week. -Eck~!!- Can't wait for it to end in early October then I can revert back to my own pace.
Work place has again been shifted back to Cintech (Science Park), so I'll be waking up slightly earlier till the end of the year. Good and bad I guess, ERP+Fuel goes up significantly, BUT still cheaper than a car. Boring thing is that its somewhat monsoon season, so I expect to be in and out of my rain gear quite often.
Some other stuff here and there and OH! I met a new online friend. =]
OK now back to the title of this entry. I was quite oblivious the Lumix range of cameras till recently bro Ad intro-ed me to the LX3. Well I've been searching for quite some time for a compact or even a prosumer cos its not exactly possible to bring a D200 wherever I go. So I read some reviews and user's comments and HEY~! Indeed its a great cam though with a short reach (24-60mm) but its a give and take situation. Its capable of HD Video recording, which can be useful at times.
Some misc pics, I don't think they were well taken, didn't really wanted to bother with a tripod.

package, bought from MS Colour @ AMK

High-intensity interval training
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is an exercise strategy that is intended to improve performance with short training sessions.
A HIIT session involves a warmup period, several short, maximum-intensity efforts separated by moderate recovery intervals, and a cooldown period. The period of alternating effort and recovery intervals typically lasts a total of 15 minutes.
Studies by Tabata[1], Tremblay[2] and others have shown this method to be more effective at burning fat and maintaining, or building, muscle mass than high-volume, lower intensity aerobic work-outs. According to a study by King [3] , HIIT increases the resting metabolic rate (RMR) for the following 24 hours due to excess post-exercise oxygen consumption, and may improve maximal oxygen consumption (VO2 max) more effectively than doing only traditional, long aerobic workouts.[4][5][6][7] Long aerobic workouts have been promoted as the best method to reduce fat, as fatty acid utilization usually occurs after at least 30 minutes of training. HIIT is somewhat counter intuitive in this regard, but has nonetheless been shown to burn fat more effectively. There may be a number of factors that contribute to this, including an increase in RMR, and possibly other physiological effects.
